It was a pleasant trip. I know that I have relatives in that area, but we long ago lost track of each other. So it was also a nostalgic visit for me. Thank you for the fine photos and the stories.
I am glad you liked it. I just posted the windows of Vilshofen.
Those are a wonderful collection!
Remember this town by heart. Was there 30 years ago during along trip through Eastern Europe (coming from The Netherlands where we lived at the time) Made many pictures at the time but with several removals during the years they got lost but my memory is still there.
I am glad you found your memories. 45 years ago we lived in South Africa…
Where in SA did you live?
We lived in Randburg near Johannesburg. Our son is born in Joburg. Oh my god he turn 47…
We all getting old. Just got 70 myself…. Randburg is at the other side of SA. There are quite a few people from that area who moved the our neck of the woods in recent years…
We travelled around a lot. Whereabouts do you live?
In Napier in the Western Cape; a few hours drive East of Cape Town.
I looked at Google maps. We might have come through because we visited this area.
We have gone through here driving from Holland to Austria – even too many years to remember, only the name Passau! Beautiful builddings and captures, Traudel! Emille
